Strategic Plan

As part of its commitment to ensure the continued success of the Cliburn, the Cliburn's Board of Directors is undertaking the planning process to develop a new strategic plan. The previous plan was completed in 2008 and provided the Cliburn with a blueprint leading up to the 50th anniversary and the Fourteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition. Cliburn Board Member Robert Blocker, The Henry and Lucy Moses Dean of Music at Yale University, is the Chair of the Cliburn Strategic Planning Committee.

Under the direction of Robert Blocker, the Cliburn Board of Directors has drafted a revised mission statement and identified six goals to be addressed by this new strategic plan. Expected completion of the strategic plan is Fall 2012.
