Now, during the intermission before Eduard Kunz comes onto the stage, the webcast is showing video clips from the past few days. I see the pink Cadillac, and competitors trying cowboy boots. Here’s Van Cliburn himself taking and greeting competitors.
Well, sometimes, you just have to be there, but we just can’t be everywhere.
Sitting at home watching all this as it happens is the next best thing.
