Cliburn 180º

History of Cliburn 180°

Cliburn 180° evolved from the Social Hosts Program of the Thirteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition in 2009. Each competitor was matched with social hosts to show them around town between practice times and provide peer-to-peer support. This gave competitors an opportunity to socialize and identify with someone their own age and experience Fort Worth beyond the concert hall.
