Italian pianist Mariangela Vacatello has appeared in many of the most prestigious venues around the world, including Wigmore Hall in London, Berlin Konzerthaus, Mozarteum Auditorium in Salzburg, Salle Cortot in Paris, Walt Disney Hall in Los Angeles, Weill Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City, and Linder Auditorium in Johannesburg. She has appeared in concerts with the Tucson Symphony, Colorado Springs Philharmonic , Stuttgart Philharmonic, Belgrade Philharmonic, Johannesburg Philharmonic, Zagreb Philharmonic, Nordwestdentsche Orchestra, and has performed with Ukraine’s Odessa Philharmonic on its tour of the United States. She made her La Scala debut with the Filarmonica della Scala in 2012. Ms. Vacatello released a recording of the Liszt Transcendental Etudes on the Brilliant Classics label in June 2011. Her performances have been broadcast by Radio France Musique, Musiq3 Belgique, Radio Svizzera Italiana, Radio 3 Italia, Radio Pretoria, and ABC Australia.
