The Cliburn was honored to have Chesapeake Energy once again sponsor the Cliburn's Community Concerts. With the generous underwriting of Chesapeake Energy, five Community Concerts were held in various venues in Fort Worth from March 5-8, 2012, featuring Mariangela Vacatello, a 2009 Van Cliburn International Piano Competition finalist. The venues included the ACH Child & Family Services West side campus, Trinity Terrace Retirement Community, Como and Southwest Community Centers, and Resource Connection Campus in collaboration with Senior Citizens Services. All of the concerts were provided free of charge.
