2016 CLIBURN AMATEUR COMPETITORS

They are doctors and lawyers, cell biologists and sommeliers. The 68 competitors of the Seventh Cliburn International Amateur Piano Competition come from 18 countries. Some (20) are return competitors; others are new to competitions and this Competition. But they all share a passion for the piano. The Cliburn is a not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors, elected for a four year term. It is sustained by the generous support from individuals, foundations, corporations, the tireless efforts of volunteers, and embraced by the community of Fort Worth.
