All tickets, with the exception of Cliburn Sessions, are sold through the Performing Arts Fort Worth Box Office and can be purchased:

Standby tickets

Starting one hour prior to a sold-out performance, a line will form at the Box Office for $20 standby tickets. 10 minutes prior to the performance, in the event of last-minute cancellations or no-shows, and at the discretion of Cliburn staff, seats may be released and sold to those in line on a first-come, first-served basis. We cannot guarantee that seats will become available, but we will do our best to accommodate you.

Student tickets

Student tickets will be on sale for $10 beginning one hour prior to each performance, based on availability.

It is the mission of the Cliburn to advance classical piano music throughout the world. Its international competitions, education programs, and concert series embody an enduring commitment to artistic excellence and the discovery of young artists.



The Cliburn is a not-for-profit organization governed by a board of directors, elected for a four year term. It is sustained by the generous support from individuals, foundations, corporations, the tireless efforts of volunteers, and embraced by the community of Fort Worth. The Van Cliburn International Piano Competition is a proud member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions.
