Examples of what we can accomplish with your contribution
include:
- Producing a documentary that is viewed primetime on PBS by
potentially 105 million households.
- Providing recordings for American Public Media's
Performance Today heard by 1.3 million listeners each
week.
- Allowing individuals all over the world free access to archived
Van Cliburn International Piano Competition performances.
- Creating compact disc recordings of the three medalists for the
world to enjoy.
- Launching the careers of six winners after each Van Cliburn
International Piano Competition.
- Presenting world class artists in concerts in Bass Performance
Hall and the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.
- Offering free Community Concerts so that individuals of all
ages or financial situations to have access to the joy of classical
music.
- Serving 33,000 second, third, and fourth grade children with
music education programs.
- Moving a Cliburn-owned grand piano to 125 Musical
Awakenings® programs for children to hear and
see.
- Providing 119 public elementary schools in Arlington,
Birdville, Burleson, Crowley, Everman, Fort Worth,
Hurst-Euless-Bedford, Mansfield, and White Settlement with free
Musical Awakenings programs.
- Giving free piano lessons to select children in the Cliburn's
Musical Awakenings® program from Title 1
elementary schools.
