Join us for Cliburn Conversations and enhance your concert experience with an in-depth look at the evening's performance. These informative lectures, focusing on the lives, works, and inspirations of the composers featured on the programs, bring increased levels of understanding and enjoyment to the Cliburn Concerts audiences. Hosted by Dr. Carol Reynolds, these discussions are free to ticket holders and held prior to each Cliburn at the Bass performance at 6:30 p.m.in the Green Room located on the Box Tier Level.

Carol ReynoldsFor more than 20 years, Dr. Reynolds held the position of associate professor of music at Southern Methodist University. A highly respected and sought-after author and music lecturer, she has received critical praise for her DVD-based lecture series 300 Years of Interaction in Western Music, Arts, and Culture. For her Cliburn Conversations discussions, she combines her knowledge of music history, arts, and culture with her passion for education in presentations that include musical and visual examples aimed at inspiring concert audiences.
