The announcement of twenty-year-old Japanese pianist Nobuyuki Tsujii as winner of the Nancy Lee and Perry R. Bass Gold Medal at the Thirteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition marked a significant historic milestone for both this extraordinary artist and the competition.
