The Cliburn received a grant award of $10,000 from the Carl B. & Florence E. King Foundation to provide support to expand Musical Awakenings® into the Dallas Independent School District for the 2012-2013 school year. The Cliburn will provide programs to children in 9 Title 1 schools in lower-income neighborhoods in Dallas. We are excited to take the programs back to Dallas and are very grateful to the Carl B. & Florence E. King to provide us with this opportunity.
