Fort Worth, Texas, March 30, 2011--Since 2007, the Van Cliburn Foundation has presented free Community Concerts annually throughout Fort Worth with the goal of making the finest in classical music accessible to all. This year, these engaging concerts have been generously underwritten by Chesapeake Energy Corporation and will feature 2009 Cliburn Competition Silver Medalist Yeol  eum Son. Ms. Son will present a concert featuring works by Czerny, Tchaikovsky, Debussy, and Liszt at the historic Rose Marine Theater (1440 North Main Street) on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 7:30 p.m. This free performance is open to the public and does not require a ticket.

In addition to the performance at the Rose Marine Theater, Ms. Son will also perform recitals for students and senior citizens at: Greenbriar Community Center, Como Community Center, Southwest Community Center, Resource Connection Campus, and Northside Community Center.
