The Van Cliburn Foundation has been awarded a Texas Women for the Arts grant! The funds will support our children's education programs for the Fourteenth Van Cliburn International Piano Competition to be held May 24-June 9, 2013. The education programming for the Competition is designed to boost creativity in children and augment their in-school education. It will take the Competition into classrooms and provide both music and art education. Adopt-A-Competitor personalizes the Competition, the Art Banners Project gives student artists a chance to create, and Cliburn Notes provides children with an activity booklet.
